Description: Let's just say I have really weird intuition sometimes. I painted this picture one day after I got out of the mental hospital. I had painted my hair purple for fun. I always wanted to dye my hair a wild color, but was nervous. Lets just say about a month later I had purple hair. This piece is titled key to change because I believe the hospital started a whole new life for me. It sent me on this journey of creating art for myself, to help process and heal. The key on my hat represents the gift I received at the end of my hospital journey. It's the key to my own success. I carry around they key with me still to remind myself how far I have come and its just the beginning of my new outlook on life.
